Shake that jelly

So,

I really don't want to do my last assignment of university EVER! So through my prograstination. I ended up watching Fresh Prince of Bel Air best dance moves videos. As you do because he is both amazing, the show is amazing, his moves are amazing, everything he does is amazing. I have found some good shapes to bust from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Who can blame me ey?

Anyhow I decided I would post a video of this band that I like at the moment but also I really like this guys dance moves in this video. He totes reminds me of my cousin. I think it is the way he walks and his silly dance moves. But this man can BUST SHAPES! There is nothing better than someone looking like they are having fun when they are dancing and not taking life to seriously. All I can do is laugh when I see lassies on a night out just taking the whole thing to the next level seeeeerious!

You might as well look and dance like a dickhead. You always have more fun because you really just don't give a shite what people think. Trust!

"I sleep in the middle of the bed"

So,

Tonight I went and saw Lucy Rose at this amazing place called Oran Mor in Glasgow. I went on my own to the gig but I had the most amazing night ever. It was such a good little adventure and made me fall in love with Glasgow all over again. But not just my adventure made it such a mint night but also the venue it was so cool. The only way that I can explain it is, that it is a large church that has been converted and downstairs is the venue. But it was just right size it was too small but it wasn't maaaaasive to the point where you are squinting to see the act and all that jazz. As well the crowd was amaze-tits. There was just such a good atmosphere/ vibe (i feel totally lame for saying that but there is no other way to explain it). Everyone was just having a joke and enjoying the music and getting into it and dancing. On a side note- there was this middle age woman going hard on the dance floor having the time of her life and she kept making me chuckle because that is totally how I imagine myself to be at that age just not giving a crap and just having fun. She looked so happy it made me smile loads.

Anyhow... The most important part of this night was Lucy Rose she was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamhhhhhhhazing! If you don't know who she is then go and listen to her. I find her voice so soothing and magical. She also sounded so much like her recorded songs which always makes me appreciate artists more. Words can not even explain. But she was also so chill and down to earth and funny. One of the best people I've seen live hands down. If you get the chance to go and see her. JUMP, seriously jump!

So, that was my night. I have one week left of university now. I got my dissertation grade and thats all good and I had one of those purely beautiful and most random evenings that will definitely go in my scrapbook (if I ever make one, which I really should do).

Also sorry I cant post any pictures I tried to take loads but I have the shittest camera (iphone 3g- still reppin' that bad boy). So I have nothing to show for my night. But if I ever go past Oran Mor I will take a snap so you can see it. Its pretty darn cool.

I will also post pictures soon of my awesome Edinburgh day trip to the vintage fare I went to. I wore one of my new jumpers to the gig tonight. So all will be revealed shortly.

Creep

So,

I was home for a few days which was you know the same old same old but fun at the same time. Anyways I was home because I had an interview for some thing and so the day before my interview I decided to pop into Primani (which for those of you who don't what this is, this is Primark). I hate in there I cant stand it I don't even like walking past because it gives me anxiety! Just not my scene. But on this very day I braved and gosh golly wasn't I happy that I did.

I found foe creeper wedges for a bargain price of £16. Which to be fair everyone that I have spoken to has said thats a lot from Primarni. But you know what I brought a pair before and they are THE most comfortable heels I have ever owned. So nae shame in it whats so ever!

I personally think you should all invest in the wedge creepers and for the bargain price of £16 you can well and truly never go wrong. In my personal opinion they look good with most outfits.

I left them at home while I came back up to uni for the last few weeks. But when I am back home I will take a snap of them so you can see them in all their glory.

"Collecting names of the lovers that went wrong"

So,

I was at my university yesterday and they sometimes have a vintage stall there. I found this beaut and it was only a tenner! Can I hear a baaaargain!

I really like it since I will have to be looking for proper jobs soon and what not its a nice smart jacket that I could wear. The only other thing I really have is a leather and I'm not personally crazy about blazers unless they are really quite bright and funky (yet again not appropriato for interviews). But it is real wool so thats always a bonus. I thought it looked quite nice with my mustard skater dress. Yet again I'm not a hundred percent on the look, it would have to be for the right occasion.

I think it would nice though if I teamed even with jeans and a nice time just for a more casual look. I am totes in love with this jacket. I'm sure you will be seeing more of it over the next few posts with things that I think will look good with. Also loving the fact its dogtooth print. Its so in right now and also timeless I think. Its also a good pattern to rock it up a bit or grannie it. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

By the way there were loads of other things Ive got that I thought would look bees knees with this jacket but I'm at the moment transferring my stuff home from uni so I'm low on resources. Sorry peeps.

Who, Where, What, Why?

So,

I decided to start a blog about bargain hunting. I have always been keen for a good old bargain I just can't help myself. There is no better feeling than leaving a shop knowing you got a good deal. So I thought why the hell not blog about my experiences. I'm thinking I could write about good ways to find a bargain, good shops to look in, little gems that I have found over the years and ways to work bargain looks hopefully.

I don't know how well this will go but hey ho I'm willing to give it a shot. Just a quick heads up. I'm not very good a spelling or grammar so throughout this blog I truly apologise. Hopefully it will improve over the posts.
